This is your sky today.

You would have been 68 today. On top of my head, this is what I imagined:
1. I'd cook for you. Yes I can cook. I can no longer remember what is your favorite meal, but I do remember you hate tomyam with a vengeance. You'd love a good sambal belacan, which only Mama can pull off a mean one for us.
2. I'd buy you all the plants in the world. Nobody inherited your green thumb. The longest plant I had with me was a lucky bamboo, which eventually died after 6 years when I moved out from our K loft. I'd build you a garden, I'd watch you spend your evening planting trees and grooming flowers with love because they were the only thing that made you happy.
3. I'd buy you chickens and ducks for your garden. Remember back then when we had 6 geese? I'd buy them for you too. They may be loud but you love them for their fierce loyalty. They'd bite, they'd chase us around but we'd keep them anyway.
4. I'll let you babysit my boys. I'm having a hard time what you'd do with them, but I suppose you'd take the out for a drive, perhaps to the park nearby where you'd teach them how to kick a ball. You probably want them footballers, you'd be their referee, their coach, their best (or worst) critic.
5. I know a good place in Keramat where you and I can indulge in ox tongue masak merah. It's so delicious I bet you'd be coming back for more.
6. After dinner we'd hang out at Dataran Merdeka, your favorite place to people watch. You once said we all can learn about other people just by observing them.

That's all I can think about for now. I'm sorry I wrote this in a rush. I'm sorry I've started forgetting things about you but I still miss you. I'm doing great, I wish I could repay you back although I know you'll have none of it. I hope I've made you proud.
