myBurger Lab

Alas! A second myBurger Lab outlet closer to home! Otherwise I'll never get to taste it. Heard that the queue at the SEA Park outlet is still crazy.

We arrived there 530pm and by the time we finish at 620pm, the place was packed and as expected, a long queue has formed. Worry not about the service though, because I think the numbering system works and the staff is really helpful and rajin

Let's talk about the burgers shall we? No let's not. Believe the hype and go try it. Sink your teeth in those fluffy charcoal bread and burgers. Roy had the Hulk burger and I had the most basic one with mushroom. Yuuuuummmmm.

The fries however, is an acquired taste.
I was unable to pin-point what goes into the fries (herbs?) so I guess it's not for everyone.

Just so you know, I pass by myBurger Lab every evening on my way home from work.
It's so tempting to just drop by and indulge! But I don't think I will ever do that. I was once robbed around that area. :(

myBurger Lab is located just opposite Plaza OUG. Jom?

Crazy december.
In random order: current boss leaving | future boss accident, will be back next year | current writer resigned | future writer accepted another job before we got to sign her | terrible KPI | awards submission not moving | colleague caught writing a letter to God etc.

And my kids, they got to see fishes in a tank at a SUPERMARKET over the weekend.
Hold tight boys, we go see proper fishes at Aquaria soon okay?

Breathe.

kulcats barrio

Last Friday, after a futile attempt at deciding which sushi place we can check out, London Girl and I decided to check out the hipster place Kulcats Barrio over at TTDI.
You can't help but feel old when most of the people there is half your age haha.

Choco mud pie
The mud pie is pretty nice, especially when you pair it with vanilla ice-cream. Pure bliss.

London Girl's rib
The meat is tender and the gravy is pretty good. Huge right? Yup.

Sloppycats Burger
So far, I have not found THE sloppy joe that I love in Malaysia. Sigh. Albeit the home-made patty the chilli corne carne was too sour for my taste. Perhaps they could go easy on the tomato.

Yummy drinks! Latte was kinda blah though.

WIP set lunch

At 30++ you get a bento set lunch at WIP, BSC.
That super green thing you see in the pic is actually chicken pesto, which works well with briyani (you can also choose pita bread if you want). For dessert you'll get coffee and chocolate marshmallow cake, with complimentary flavored tea thrown in as well.

music is life

Me: I lost my iPod! *cries into hands*
Colleague, to another colleague: Just ignore her. This happens all the time. The iPod is bound to show up sooner or later.

Which is true. Found my iPod a week later, nicely hidden under the mat in my SIL's car.

>.<

pepper lunch

I'm so behind with my food updates! Eh since when do I have food updates.
Bak kata my ex-colleague on fb: "Asik mkn sedap jah".
Well life is too short to not try everything no?

Pepper Lunch is actually my husband's favorite.
Pre-mixed rice with corn, butter and beef/chicken on a hot plate then you mix them altogether while the plate is still hot then wallah!

It's really delicious. Available at Pavi, KLCC, Sunway Pyramid and OU.
