lunch set at la bodega

A pretty good deal I must say.
With 25 bucks you get a main course (my pasta was delicious), with a small caesar salad, a choice of soda or fruit juice, and a choice of Ily coffee or tea.

where art thou

I just want my ol' iPod to miraculously appear right now. It's been missing since saturday (although my guts tell me that it's hidden somewhere in either my car or my in-laws').

As much as it's tempting to get a new one with bigger capacity I don't think spending 1k on a new gadget is an option for now. /sadface

double shot!

Bought this at Lotte Mart in Hartamas after my Korean lunch today. It's still in the fridge, think I'll probably share it with the hubs once he gets home.

I think I'm beginning to like Korean food. God, first Pandora, now this. I am beginning to love things I hate! And oh, another one, I kinda like doing investment report, maybe because now I am forced to learn about the markets and economy whether I like it or not. :)

NaNoBlo what?

So much for wanting to write on a daily basis in the month of November.

sunday.

My nephew bersunat today. Heehee. But kids these days have gadgets and games to keep their mind from that tiny pain after the deed is done. Lie in bed for the whole week? No problem!

My kids on the other hand, are back to strict gadget diet but as a result they spent the entire day fighting, biting and also wrestling me! That's okay, it's more fun this way although i did let escape a few screams here and there. Haih.

Back to work tomorrow. Eurgh.

a wedding.

It was scorching hot yesterday. So hot that I didn't have the energy to complain about the wedding I attended haha. You know I can't keep my mouth shut when it comes to Malay weddings. Especially the ones with a wedding DJ from hell.

These days for outdoor weddings I will wear pants with a flimsy top. Can't be bothered to wear proper baju kurung. Pftth.

3 weddings to attend in December. I think they are all indoor. Probably I can finally wear the Hatta Dolmat baju kurung and I've ordered something nice from surisara.com for one of the weddings.

oh abang rumi

If I were to create a new folder on FB or Instagram, it would be Abang Rumi's Masterpiece – The Stuff Found in My Phone edition.

Trust me there's more. I hate it when he touches my phone because that boy can spend HOURS playing games and at times, he'd be so engrossed with editing photos. Which is fine because the photos are hilarious! I'll just put one here for now.

RM15 lunch.

The office is not a lost cause after all for lunch. There's a new pop-up restaurant just opened few weeks ago, or maybe months, because I didn't notice it and their grilled chicken is delicious! The gravy reminds me of Humble Chef's grilled chicken pasta though.

last diwali

Aish, kids and gadgets these days.
Went to a colleagues' house in Klang for Deepavali.
"How was my rendang, Nate?", Nitha asked.
"What rendang?"

Turns out the spicy RED COLORED lauk chicken we had was supposed to be rendang! lol

Had a good laugh.  Failed rendang or not, I am totally addicted to her maruku.

Mukha, TTDI

First attempt at panorama shot. Kindly ignore that creepy super thin woman haha
Rumi's got a new hair
Breakfast menu
The bacon is so good!
Choc banana french toast for the kids which we adults ended up devouring.
Still trying to finish The Devotion of Suspect X.
I'm not a big fan of restaurants with mismatched furnitures but Mukha is an exception because it's a cosy place to hang out and their staff is friendly. We were here for brunch, so too bad I was not able to indulge in my favorite beef kofta meatballs.

The choc banana french toast is to die for.

Warung Leko, The Curve.

Feeling kinda under the weather today. My throat is a flaming inferno again so when my colleague asked me what do I want to eat at the Curve, I just said Warung Leko. Some fiery ayam penyet would be nice. Not that my throat would appreciate it.

But I'm glad she introduced me to this soup assem because it was so good. It reminds me of tomyam, only sweeter. Do note that I only sip the soup, and discarded the rest. Heheh.

Soup Assem.

Penyet my love.

View.

NaBloPoMo 2013

Well apparently November is NaBloPoMo (National Blog Posting Month) so update your blog everyday! Unfortunately I only got to know about it today and today is already the 4th...

November is also my pretty Mama's birthday; the last month of my Universal Banking course; and I should be getting the awards submissions notification by mid-month.

I'm tired.

Don't ever be second best, Nate.

31102013

Sometimes I think in past life I was a yakuza because I swear I felt like smashing a chair on a doctor's head at Mediviron. And chop off his dick and feed it to the dogs. Woah.

So anyway, Idris' cough escalated to a non-stop coughing frenzy last night and we reluctantly went to Mediviron (it was the nearest at that time) and to our dismay, it was doctor A on duty (who we kinda don't like him because he overcharge, overprescribe, over everything). So you can imagine my dismay when he said Idris needs an injection (siap buat statement "this is gonna be expensive ok", then nebulizer and a handful of other (stronger) meds and antibiotics, and oh, hospitalized if need be. If he thinks I'm stupid he got another thing coming. You don't inject a 4 year old! The boy needs air!

We ended up refusing him and rushed Idris to our beloved hospital ER. Thankfully, his breathing is alright. Yes, plenty of phlegm in his lungs. After 5 minutes on the nebulizer, we were sent home with an anti-phlegm medicine and a cough med.

"Injection my ass", I told my husband.

The coughing has decreased tremendously today and I doubt we will need to go to the hospital again later for another round of nebulizer. When I have time I will write an official complaint letter to Mediviron group against that doctor.

Something that a real-life yakuza wouldn't do I guess. ;p

Sudahlah, mak nak masak. But I'm not sure what to cook. Dear housewives, don't you feel like your life is a vicious cycle of deciding what to cook on a daily basis (or do you have the entire menu planned out for the whole week?). Heheh.
